I had a charming stay in the heart of Old San Juan, with a lovely room and a relaxing atmosphere. However, I was disappointed that the rooftop bar was only open on weekends and that the pool area felt a bit worn down. Overall, I'd definitely consider returning for its unique boutique charm.
Rooms
7.0
My room was spacious and quaint with a balcony, but it was situated directly below the infinity pool, which made for a noisy night. The bathroom was just mediocre, and there weren't enough outlets for charging devices.
Service
7.0
The front desk staff were friendly and provided helpful recommendations for local spots to check out. However, there were some delays in addressing issues like the air conditioning leaks.
Location
9.0
The location is fantastic, with easy access to restaurants and sights in Old San Juan. The cobblestone streets and local charm added to the experience, making it easy to explore the area on foot.
Dining
6.0
I enjoyed the coffee available in the morning, though breakfast service was slow at times. It would have been nice to have more options available throughout the day.
Facilities
6.0
The rooftop terrace and soaking pool provided great views, but the pool area felt somewhat neglected. I appreciated the cozy common areas, but they could use some sprucing up.

My stay at La Terraza De San Juan was nice, with a stunning location near El Morro and vibrant streets. The staff was friendly, engaging, and made us feel right at home, especially with my son getting to ring the front desk bell. However, the shower had some hot water issues, and the parking situation could be a bit tricky since there's no overnight street parking. Overall, a great experience with some minor hiccups.
Rooms

My room was spacious and clean, with a charming old-world feel, although there were some issues with water flow in the shower. The bed was comfortable, and the AC worked well, but another guest mentioned the air conditioning in their room being broken.

The staff was absolutely fantastic and made my family feel valued and welcomed. They were helpful with recommendations for dining and provided great service during our stay.
Location

The location is unbeatable, walking distance to all major sights in Old San Juan, including lovely restaurants and the waterfront. The street had a great vibe, and we loved being so close to everything.
Dining

Breakfast at the hotel was delicious and reasonably priced. I enjoyed the traditional options, but be aware that some might find it a bit pricey compared to local options.
Facilities

I appreciated the rooftop space with beautiful sunset views, even though the bar wasn't open. Facilities like housekeeping were well-maintained, although some areas could use a little more attention over time.

I had a lovely stay at La Terraza De San Juan. The location was fantastic for exploring Old San Juan, with everything within walking distance. The hotel has a charming, quaint vibe that felt authentic, but I did notice some quirks due to its age, like the tight spiral staircase and occasional noise from the lobby. Overall, it was a comfortable and clean choice that perfectly matched my desire for local flavor.
Rooms
8.0
I stayed in a King Suite, which had a spacious kitchen and separate room area. The bed was super comfy, although the building does have some age showing with minor imperfections. Also, the refrigerator was a bit too cold at times, freezing our drinks.
Service
9.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with directions or recommendations. Their hospitality really added to the overall positive experience.
Location

The location couldn't be better! It was within easy walking distance to all the sights in Old San Juan, not to mention tons of great restaurants nearby.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was decent but nothing special. Dining prices in the area are high, so keep that in mind!
Facilities

Facilities included a nice rooftop cafe and common areas that were stylish and well-maintained. However, I didn't get to check out the pool since it was under maintenance during my stay.

I had a mixed experience at La Terraza De San Juan. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore Old San Juan, but my room lacked some basic comforts. The charm of the building was present, but the outdated features left much to be desired. Overall, I appreciated the character, though there were notable issues that detracted from my stay.
Rooms
6.0
I stayed in the garden room, which had a lovely private living area, but the air conditioning leaked and the wooden door was hard to shut. The quirky nature of the hotel was apparent, but it felt a bit dated for my taste.
Service
7.0
The staff was friendly, but not always attentive. For instance, they couldn't address the leaks in my room promptly, which was disappointing.
Location
9.0
You can't beat the location! It was so convenient for walking around Old San Juan and exploring nearby restaurants.
Dining
5.0
The dining options at the hotel were decent, but the service was slow. I had to wait a long time for a simple breakfast, which was frustrating.
Facilities

The hotel had its charm, but it felt dated, and certain amenities, like the ice machine, were lacking. I expected more given the price.

I had a mixed experience at La Terraza De San Juan. The location was fantastic, allowing easy access to all the sights in Old San Juan. However, my room had several issues, including a disconnected laundry machine and Wi-Fi that didn't work. The staff was friendly and helpful, making it a worthwhile adventure, but I left feeling like there could have been improvements.
Rooms

I stayed in unit 5; the room had nice high ceilings and an oversized balcony, but there were multiple problems, including a non-adjustable AC, a broken dishwasher, and issues with laundry.
Service

The staff was always friendly and accommodating, which really helped to improve my experience despite the issues I faced.
Location

The location was definitely one of the best aspects, with easy walking access to historic sites and delicious restaurants everywhere you turned.
Dining

Breakfast had a very limited selection, which was a bit disappointing given the overall charm of the hotel.
Facilities

The rooftop terrace with a small pool offered stunning views, though the pool was quite small and limited to only five people.
